I just got the following e-mail.
Dear FutureMe,
Hey man, I have no idea what I’ll be doing when I’m you. Right now I’m juggling the ideas of doing JET, grad school (in or out of state) or just jumping into the job market. I can’t even begin to think what you’re doing right now.
Sincerely,
You

I barely remember doing this and I’m so happy that I did. While I didn’t end up applying for JET (missed a deadline), I have ended up moving to Japan to teach English after I failed at getting a job in the US. Wonderfully bizarre. I’m off to write another for future me 2 years in the future, because I’m back at not know where I’ll be or what I’ll be doing then.
